The Rhythm Doctors
Swingin' Since 1942
The Rhythm Doctors Swing Band was established in 1942 by chemists and engineers at the E. I. du Pont de Nemours and Company in Wilmington, Delaware. All members of the band shared a love for the "swing" music of that era.
The band has played since then up and down the Eastern seaboard. The band's music library now has almost 1,000 charts featuring the great bands such as Count Basie, Glenn Miller, Duke Ellington, and Stan Kenton. The library also features fantastic, original charts by arrangers like Sammy Nestico and Dave Wolpe, and also includes music by its own arranger, Warren Keyser that gives the band its unique sound.
