About the Band ...

Swing music of the Big Band Era is what the Rhythm Doctors is all about. The Rhythm Doctors' 17 piece band has been playing the Big Band sound throughout the mid-Atlantic region for eight decades.  The idea was born in 1942 when a group of chemists and engineers at the DuPont Experimental Station near Wilmington discovered they shared a common interest in playing swing music.

Their smooth and powerful sound comes from four trumpets, four trombones, five saxophones, a rhythm section, and a vocalist. With a repertoire featuring the arrangements of Glenn Miller and Count Basie, along with special arrangements by Warren Keyser, the band is sure to provide a memorable listening experience.
